Innocent staff at an under-fire care home have been sent hate mail on social media, according to a relative of a former resident.
Lesley Baliga’s mum Marjorie Tampin spent six months at neighbouring St Mary’s Court, based at the Old Deanery Care Village, until she died in June last year - two weeks after her 92nd birthday.
Mrs Baliga, of Woolpack Lane, Bocking, is keen to ensure that all care workers are not tarred with the same brush after last month's Panorama programme revealed a host of failings at the Old Deanery.
Mrs Baliga said: “I don’t condone what we saw but the majority of staff there are caring, hard working people who do an amazing job in very difficult circumstances."
