Ambulance crews were called more than 3,000 times in Essex during the Easter break.
The county is protected by the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust which covers six counties.
In just four days they were called to 1,522 falls, 212 road traffic accidents, 116 heart attacks.
Other victims included horse riders and several people trying to get on with some DIY.
