Follow in the footsteps of famous film characters and walk the streets of London to raise money for children's charity, Brainwave.
The charity, which has a therapy centre in Newland Street, Witham, is hosting a 6km sponsored Walk for Brainwave on June 26 at 5.30pm.
The circular route, which starts and ends at the Minister Exchange, features locations from a variety of iconic films including Skyfall, Sherlock Holmes, Lara Croft – Tomb Raider, Love Actually, Harry Potter, Bridget Jones and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
Test your film knowledge with the a treasure hunt, complete with brilliant prizes, before heading back to the Minister Exchange to relax with a complementary drink and an after party, complete with film music and a cash bar.
All funds raised will go towards the charity, which enables UK children with disabilities and additional needs to achieve greater independence.
Brainwave Chief Executive Phil Edge said: ‘2014 is the fourth year of the annual Walk For Brainwave, which always proves popular with both local businesses and the public.
"It’s great fun for friends and a wonderful team building opportunity for colleagues.
"We hope Londoners will continue to support us with their encouragement and donations."
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and anyone can take part, either as an individual or as part of team. Registration is £25 per person.
