A man was taken to hospital after his vehicle overturned on the A120.

Police attended the scene, which involved a grey Range Rover Sport that had overturned at around 12.30pm today near the Takeley turn off.

The East of England Ambulance Service said the car appeared to have hit the central reservation before rolling back across the road and into a ditch.

The driver, a man in his 20s from Watford, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital by ambulance for further assessment.

The collision damaged the central reservation barrier of the road.

One lane was closed but the road re-opened just before 2pm.
