A mum who has breast cancer has organised a charity day.

Ayse Jones, 31, was diagnosed with breast cancer Christmas last year, four months after she had given birth to her second child.

To raise money for Breast Cancer Care and to celebrate her successful chemo treatment at the end of last month which has seen the cancer shrink to an operable size, she has organised a charity day at Lyons Hall School, Deerleap Way, on May 3 from 12pm to 3pm.

There will be free face painting, a children’s entertainer, a special guest appearance from Mini Mouse, a bouncy castle, cakes and refreshments and a raffle with fantastic prizes including a £50 Dog and Gun voucher, a family photo shoot with a disc of images and a voucher for a cut and blow dry.

There are also silent auctions running for signed and framed photos of Lewis Hamilton and Aaron Ramsey and the chance to drive a Mini for a weekend; search “Mini Bids for Cancer Care” on Facebook for more information.
