Witham hairdressers named best in the region
A team of hairdressers are celebrating after their salon was named best in the region at an awards ceremony.
Yaxley Hair and Beauty, in Newland Street, Witham, scooped the hair salon of the year award for the East of England at the English Hair and Beauty Awards.
Salon owner Phillippa Gigg said: “A win like this for a small salon is unbelievable and we are so proud.”
This year’s awards, held at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester, helped raise £1,700 for the Make A Wish Foundation charity.
It is the second year in a row Yaxley Hair and Beauty has won the category.
