Children and residents are celebrating after the opening of a new lottery-funded park area.
Stisted Parish Council received a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund towards new play equipment at the village’s playing fields behind The Onley Arms, in The Street.
The project was one of 12 in the east of England handed cash during a £96,660 round of grants awarded earlier this year.
The council also received £1,000 from the Hawthorn Trust.
