Youngsters received street dancing tips from a star of Britain’s Got Talent.
Benji Shogbulu, who reached the semi-finals of the talent show in 2010 as part of the Peridot Dance group, visited New Rickstones Academy, in Conrad Road, Witham, earlier this month.
London-based Benji performs around the world and was preparing to jet off to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Bahrain when he visited the school.
He delivered workshops in street dance techniques and treated pupils to a demonstration of his skills in an exciting performance.
Lisa Warnock, head of dance, said: “We are so pleased to offer students opportunities to work with people like Benji Shogbulu.
“Students were really buzzing and excited after their sessions.
“Benji is a fantastic role model and a great example of motivation, dedication and talent for our students.”
