Anyone with information should call Braintree CID
A handbag was stolen from inside a house, after thieves removed the letterbox.
The burglary occurred at a house in Blackwater Way, Braintree, between 3am and 7am on Saturday morning.
The bag contained some low value personal items including toiletries.
Police are advising homeowners not to leave any belongings in view or near their front door.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area or who has any information about the burglary should call Braintree CID on 101.
