Parents appeal for help to find missing teenager

The parents of a missing teenager are calling for anyone with information to come forward.

Harley Gallagher, 16, has not returned to his home in Maltings Lane, Witham, since leaving at 10am on Sunday.

He was wearing dark jeans, a blue shirt and a three-quarter length grey coat when he was last seen.

Harley is a former pupil at both Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy, and left home on Sunday following a family argument.

Dad Paul said: “The longer he is missing the more worried we get.

“We have no idea where he is because he has no access to money or communications.”

Harley, who left home with a bag containing two Doctor Who books, had been seen reading in the town later the same day.

But another possible sighting said he was walking along the A12 towards Colchester.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.

Any chance of an update? usually when somebody of this age goes missing then within two days it has either been resolved, or escallated into a much larger news campaign.
