A determined woman has been inspired by her grandfather to raise money for charity.
Clare Richardson, 25, of Thomas Way, Braintree, is running the London Marathon for Farleigh Hospice.
The cabin crew member who works at Stansted Airport said: “My grandfather raised £700 for the charity at his retirement party and sadly he has passed away ten days later in October last year from pancreatic cancer.
“He was so proud of raising this money and I thought that raising money for the same charity would be a great way to remember him.”
