A team of apprentices helped refurbish a run-down cricket clubhouse as part of a community project.
Hatfield Peverel Cricket Club have benefited from a group of nine apprentices from Chelmsford-based manufacturing company e2v.
The group of nine were asked to complete a community project after entering the regional heats of the Brathay Apprentice Challenge.
Within days, the cricket club had contacted the team asking for help revamping their dilapidated clubhouse.
Over the past five weeks, the apprentices have been painting, decorating and cleaning to bring the pavilion, in Church Road, back into working order.
