A start date for long-awaited plans to improve the A120 Marks Farm roundabout has still not been confirmed.

The Highways Agency has approved a £75,000 project to change traffic signs and road markings on the roundabout and approach roads.

It hopes the scheme will reduce the risk of accidents but has admitted it is still looking at a second larger project to resolve the queuing on the A131 approach.

Last week, frustrated drivers claimed £650,000 improvement works at the nearby Galleys Corner roundabout were a “total waste of money”.
