Zombies took over Black Notley at the weekend as filming took place for a short film.

Mike Jarman, 26, a photographer of Braintree, started the film, entitled “The Vicious Dead”, in February 2012 after making a short film on the idea and people really liking it and encouraging him to develop it into a short film.

The film centres on Chase Connor (played by Kevin Jarvis), who hacks into the cameras of an unknown laboratory leading to him being chased by henchman and zombies.

Regarding the above photo depicting the good folks of Black Notley.

I must be particularly dim today, but I can't make out what it is that is supposed to be so different about it from any other weekend 'up there'.

P.S.

Anyway well done to the BWT on their usual high quality proof reading. (Black Notely....good grief!)

Maybe it's time the Editor got a Henchman to chase on or two of his Zombies around the office to shake them up a bit!

It's just utterly unbelievable……
.

The BWT have corrected the original sloppy headline which read 'Filming for new zombie film in Black Notely' - only to go and screw it up again the second time round!

The latest iteration reads 'Village is taking over by zombies as short film is shot'.

Dear Mr Editor Sir. Isn't it time your office was TAKEN OVER by a crew with a reasonable level of proficiency in the English Language.

Pray tell me, what are the odds of getting right on a third attempt?

Yours Faithfully.

What the heck was Mike Jarman, "a photographer of Braintree" doing photographing Black Notely (sic)? Stepping above his station one might presume.
