A wanted man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary a day after police issued an appeal.
David Howard, 48, was arrested in Kenworthy Road, Braintree, at 10.30am today, after officers were called to reports of a burglary in process.
Essex Police issued an appeal yesterday that Howard was wanted on recall to prison.
Howard, along with a 28-year-old man from Braintree, were both arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently being interviewed by detectives.
