Author Louise Welsh will be travelling hundreds of miles to talk about her new novel at Braintree Library.
The writer, who currently lives in Glasgow, is paying a visit to the library chat about her new novel A Lovely Way To Burn as part of the 2014 Essex Book Festival.
She said: “I am really excited about coming down, I have been to Essex before but not to Braintree. At the heart of every writer is a reader so I really enjoy meeting everyone at these events."
Louise Welsh will be at Braintree Library in Fairfield Road on March 25 between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
