Witham library is encouraging more people to sign up for its computer courses.

The library is running free six-week courses for absolute beginners and the next one will start in April.

Senior customer services assistant Bev Cullum said: “It’s for people with absolutely no computer skills at all.

“We cover basic things like using the keyboard and mouse, and then set people up with an email address if they haven’t got one and show them how to search the internet.

“The people who have taken part so far have found it really useful.”

The course currently runs from 10.15am-11.45am on Fridays.
