A woman was flown to hospital in a life-threatening condition after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The ambulance service was called to Bridport Way in Braintree, at 9.26am to a woman, believed to be in her fifties.
Essex Air Ambulance, an ambulance, and a rapid response car attended.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “The woman was given advanced treatment by the critical care paramedics and was airlifted to Basildon Hospital in a life-threatening condition.”
