The development of iPads and tablet devices has revolutionised the way many of us work and play on the move.
But it is not only high-powered business executives making use of the technology, as tablets find their way into the school classroom.
Alec Hunter Academy, in Stubbs Lane, Braintree, issued Nexus tablets to all its pupils in Years 7 to 10 in October.
The tablets are used in lessons, but pupils can also take them away after school and use them at home.
