An inspirational teenager has being doing her bit to support the family of a toddler diagnosed with a rare cancer.

Sienna Riley, who turns three next month, has neuroblastoma - an aggressive but rare child cancer that attacks the nerve cells.

Despite being scheduled to have surgery yesterday, there is a high chance Sienna’s cancer will return.

In case her family's worst fears are realised and Sienna does suffer a relapse, they have been raising money to pay for her to undergo further treatment in Germany.

The Rileys have already raised more than £5,000 and thanks to friend of the family Ellie Wade, 13, are now set to add to the total.

Ellie, who grew up with Sienna’s sister Courtney, has spent her lunch and breaks painting nails for staff at Notley High School, where she is a pupil.

She has raised more than £130.
