A man who was arrested while trying to get Andy Murray’s autograph when a tennis racquet was mistaken for a gun has been released without charge.
Ifran Ahmed, of Braintree, was arrested in London on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm while seeking an autograph from the Wimbledon champion.
The autograph hunter previously made national news when he tried to get an autograph from Andy Murray and accidentally hit the tennis star in the face.
