JOINTLY collecting trade waste with household rubbish could save Braintree Council £200,000 per year.
A report to senior councillors says new routes picking up domestic and commercial waste at the same time would be more cost-effective.
The changes, which could come into force from February next year are possible due to Essex County Council plans to open a waste transfer station at Cordons Farm, Long Green Road, Cressing, meaning rubbish trucks don’t have to travel as far to drop off waste.
