Fire crews come to the rescue after horses get stuck in flood

Fire fighters have been rescuing horses stuck in flood water this afternoon.

In total, eight horses were stranded in the Chelmer Village Way area of Chelmsford at midday.

Crews have walked five horses to safety and left them in the care of the owner.

Three horses remain in the field and are their safety is being monitored.
