SOLAR farm plans in the Braintree district were discussed in Parliament on Wednesday night.
Brooks Newmark, MP for Braintree and Halstead secured an adjournment debate in the House of Commons about the planning rules governing solar farms.
The MP called for the debate after energy companies submitted plans for several solar farms, which would see land covered in panels, in north Essex, including five within his constituency.
