Rupert Mason with Year 7 students
GOTHIC actor Rupert Mason impressed Year 7 students at Maltings Academy with his one-man performances of dramas by H.G. Wells and Edgar Allan Poe.
Mr Mason performed in full period costume, with atmospheric lights and sound effects.
He said: "Gothic horror has always been dramatised. It is about making you believe things that are not there."
Year 7 student Matthew Stanford, 11, said: "I thought it was really good. There were moments when you wondered what would happen next."
