A play by William Shakespeare will unfold on stage at The Braintree Arts Theatre on Saturday.
Othello: Moor of Venice by the playwright will be brought to Braintree by the Icarus Theatre Collective who are embarking on an intertnational tour with the classic.
The tempestuous play, packed full of scandal, lust, intrigue and vengeance, tells the story of Othello, the Moor of Venice.
Othello’s world will be brought vividly to life on stage as a live string quartet and ensemble cast combine with the play’s vibrant language and characters in a dangerous tale of ambition, jealously, love and deception, hurtling towards a dramatic, poignant conclusion.
Show begins at 7.30pm, running time approximetly 2 and a half hours, with interval.
