Staff at a Witham care home are celebrating after it received a glowing inspection report.
St George's Nursing Home, in Avenue Road, was compliant in all five key areas of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) report, which followed a surprise inspection on January 3.
The report stated that nobody had any complaints about the service during the visit, while one person living there said: “It’s really marvellous the way you get looked after here."
Inspectors also commented that all interactions observed between staff and residents were “appropriate, respectful and friendly”.
