A desperate mum who weighs 27 stone believes more should be done to help her lose weight.

Katie Delderfield, who has pictures of cake and sweets tattooed across her chest, claims she is desperate to break the cycle of depression-fuelled binge eating.

She has joined the Slimming World group at Elm Hall Primary School, in Witham, but has accused the NHS of failing to give her the extra helping hand she needs.

The mum-of-three (pictured) is looking for work as a teaching assistant and fears her weight could put off potential employers.

If she asks, her GP will refer her to a dietician. At the end of the day the only way to lose weight is to eat less calories than you burn, so a fundamental change of diet plus an exercise plan will do ten times more good than a fad diet at a slimming club that only works as long as you keep it up.

I think her attitude will put off potential employers. A grown adult who chooses to overeat and then makes it someone else's responsibility to fix the problem is not the sort of person I want to employ. As Keith so rightly points out, consume less, move more. If she was that desperate she would discover, as Kate Moss tells us, that nothing tastes as good as thin feels.

I have struggled with weight all my life and even more after having my 3 children until I changed my diet!

I have currently lost 29.4kgs in 8 months on the Lose Weight plan I followed to the letter and I have found the diet so easy to follow and stick to and also a bonus as its family friendly and most of the meals have become our weekly family favourites!!!

The exercise routines are so easy to fit into my hectic lifestyle and the Healthy exercises activites I practiced are doing wonders for my fitness and body tone!

I want to lose another 15-20kgs and I know I can do it if I continue to follow my weight lose plan

I don't want to reveal the secret but here is the diet that I stumbled upon by accident, and followed to a tee. It works and easy to follow ( http://bit.ly/Lose-W
eight-Fast1).

Thanks to the great diet plans and workout routines, I'm currently in the best shape of my life and look great. Furthermore, the weight is staying off!

However, remember there are no shortcuts or magical secrets to a great body - it's simply a result of hard-work and not giving up!

Was it just a pure coincidence, or are there some deeper forces at work in the advertising world I ask myself, for when I looked at the above picture, adjacent to it was a google ad for 'Hiring a Crusher'.

Very subtle I thought!

Deeper forces are indeed at work, Omps. The ads you see are targetted at you based on what you search the internet for and sites you normally visit. I guess you have some kind of interest in hiring crushers from time to time
