Police have appealed for information after three people were assaulted at Chelmsford on Christmas Day.
Officers were called to Melbourne Avenue, near Parkside Court, shortly before 8pm on December 25 following reports of about ten men fighting.
Three men, all in their 20s and from north London, were injured and were later traced by police after undergoing treatment at a London hospital.
One of the victims had serious head injuries and another had slight puncture wounds to his chest.
A 27-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, a 34-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested on suspicion of affray and a 34-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, affray, having an offensive weapon and criminal damage.
All were bailed until February 27 pending further enquiries.
