Police helicopter called to domestic disturbance
A 40-year-old man was arrested after police were called to a domestic disturbance.
Andrew King, of Ouse Chase, Witham, was arrested by an officer responding to the call at about 6.15pm on Friday.
He was charged with assaulting a constable and resisting a constable and will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on January 14.
The police helicopter was also called to the incident to provide support to officers on the ground.
