Woman assaulted in Braintree hotel - suspect in custody
A man remains in police custody in connection with an assault in a Braintree hotel.
Police were called by the ambulance service to the White Hart, Bocking End, at 4.30am today following reports of a disturbance.
A 17-year-old youth from Braintree was arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage and theft. He remains in custody.
An 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital by paramedics.
