Now is the time to sell with house prices in the region predicted to soar by as much as 10 per cent over the course of next year.
The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors expects house prices in the east of England to shoot up while the cost of renting a home is forecast to rise by a further one per cent.
Braintree estate agents have also spoken of a deluge of first time buyers and a surge in demand for new builds and properties under £200,000 in particular.
