More than 150 young singers took part in a show filled with dancing and festive music.
Maltings Academy’s Christmas concert took place last Tuesday, featuring students in Years 7 to 11.
The show, which took place at the school in Spinks Lane, Witham, featured a wide range of songs and Christmas carols.
Head of music Julianna McBride said: “This is the first Christmas concert we have had in the new school building, so it was very special.
“It’s been great to see students come forward wanting to get involved who we wouldn’t normally see step out of their comfort zone like this.
“Everyone has loved getting into the spirit of things and doing something festive.”
