A Witham school has become only the second in the country to be receive the highest possible health and safety awards.
Maltings Academy achieved five stars and the sword of honour from the British Safety Council for its outstanding efforts.
The sword recognises the best in health and safety and environmental management.
Organisations from around the world were recognised at a ceremony in London, with Maltings the only school awarded this year.
