Christmas crazy residents hope to have raised plenty of charity cash after lighting up their homes.
Mark Farthing, 30, of Gilchrist Way, Braintree, has been raising money for the air ambulance after his dad received medical attention from the flying paramedics following a heart attack a couple of years ago.
Father-of-three Mr Farthing, who is married to Melissa, 25, said: “My dad’s heart was doing 280 beats per minute and the air ambulance landed opposite the house in Coldnailhurst Avenue and took him to Colchester General Hospital.”
Robert Stafford sent in a snap of a house in Stanes Road, also on Braintree’s Glebe estate, which has a Help For Heroes collection.
