See in the 2014 with some feel-good fun as Pantoloons put on their annual pantomime.

The Braintree group will celebrate it’s 30th year with a new adaptation of the classic tale of Aladdin.

This year the panto has been written and directed by Phil Osborn who appeared in the group’s very first public performance three decades ago.

The show is set in Old Peking, with Widow Twanky and Wishee-washee, her assistant, working hard in the laundry and Aladdin, her son, the laziest boy in the world, doing absolutely nothing to help at all.

But then, a long-lost uncle offers Aladdin the chance to become rich beyond his wildest dreams and so begins a journey of intrigue, curiosity, suspense and thrills.

This show full of song, dance and laughter is sure to delight young and old and is certain to be the perfect way to celebrate the group’s 30th birthday.

Advance tickets are available at £7.50 for adults, under 16s £6.50 and children under one £1. On the night tickets are priced at £8.50 for adults, £7.50 for children and children under one £1.
