A couple were arrested after police raided a home in Bocking and found more £2,000 worth of cannabis.
Officers were let into the house in Church Street at about 10.20am last Friday and discovered nine mature cannabis plants growing under lights in a large cupboard upstairs.
They also discovered two more plants in the top of an airing cupboard and a bag and tub containing clippings.
Together, the plants and clippings are thought to be worth more than £2,000.
Officers also seized more than £1,000 in cash from the house.
A 39-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and cannabis cultivation and were taken into custody.
