Police are still looking to trace two men after a disturbance on a Witham housing estate.
Curious residents watched as a police chase took place on the Humber Road estate yesterday afternoon.
The dog unit was also witnessed driving round after police were called to Yare Avenue.
One resident said: “A guy was taken to a van cuffed, but he was asking them to wait as his girlfriend was coming and she came out with what looked like a very new baby.”
A police spokesman said: “Police officers in Witham were called to a disturbance in Yare Avenue at around 2.25pm following a report of a disturbance in the street.
“A 23-year-old man was arrested by police officers at the scene on suspicion of affray, but was later released without charge.
“Enquiries are on-going to locate the other two men involved.”
