Braintree Museum will be dishing out some Christmas fun on Saturday with their Christmas party for children.
There will be music, games, a little bit of Christmas magic and a visit from Father Christmas.
Tickets are £5 per child with one free accompanying adult only, normal admission fees apply to any other accompanying visitors.
There is also a festive exhibition featuring examples of lace from the Essex Lace Makers.
Christmas lace created by member Veronic Wright will be on display.
Photographs of celebrations around Braintree District from Christmases past, including photos from Halstead and Wethersfield Airbase, will also be on show.
The museum is open 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday with normal admission prices of adults £3, concessions £1.50, under 16s free.
