Fly-tip in our area – we’ll see you in court!
That’s the message from Braintree Council, which has prosecuted the lazy couple who left this mess in Witham.
The council has vowed to continue prosecuting fly-tippers after spending almost £70,000 a year dealing with dumped rubbish.
It celebrated its latest successful prosecution after Benjamin Cleave and Samantha Line admitted dumping household waste no more than a couple of miles from Witham recycling centre.
The duo, of Cutts Close, Hatfield Peverel, left rubbish on waste land at Gershwin Boulevard in Witham.
