Essex Police are holding a Rural Crime Awareness Day to offer prevention advice.
The event will cover • Theft of - Machinery, tractors and plant. Batteries, Metals, Diesel, Oil, Tools, Quad bikes • Security of - Dwellings, barns, outbuildings, stables, livestock, vehicles and caravans • Hare coursing, Poaching.
Various businesses will be showcasing their products and services which can assist in preventing crime, covering areas such as CCTV, Alarm Systems, Locks, Tracker, Property Marking and barriers/boundary treatment.
Essex Police staff attending will be there to provide specialist advice in relation to rural crime issues, such as the Wildlife Officer, Dog Unit, Special Branch and Air Support Unit. Aviation and small ports.
The event is being held at Great Slamseys Farm in Blackley Lane, Great Notley, between 10am and 4pm.
