A Halloween theme is taking over Marks Hall and Arboretum next week with a combination of spooky activities.

A Halloween trail through the woods will begin on Saturday **26** until Friday November 1.

Then on Wednesday 30 a Halloween Hoo Ha kicks off at 11am until 4pm with a range of activities suitable for little witches and wizards.

Zoo 4 You will be on site, bringing with them a selection of the creepiest of crawlies to view, learn about and - if you are brave enough - touch.

Story teller Mike Dodsworth will be taking a guided story walk through the Arboretum, telling terrible tales about the horrible history behind the spookiest parts of the grounds, including the Screaming Oak tree.

Also on Wednesday, author Ian Yearsly will be on hand to sign copies of his new book, ‘The Curse of Cannow’s End’, an Essex-based, Halloween-centered supernatural witch craft thriller.

Activities are free but normal admission fees apply. Adults £4.50, concessions £4. Children £1.50. Family ticket (2 adults and up to four children) £10.
