Chelmsford: Hatfield Peverel man no longer in 'life-threatening' condition
4:10pm Friday 11th October 2013 in News
A Hatfield Peverel man is no longer in a life-threatening condition following a crash.
The pedestrian, who is in his thirties, was involved in a collision with a car in Colchester Road, Chelmsford, on Tuesday.
He suffered head, arm and leg injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
That afternoon, his condition had been described by police as “life-threatening”.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “The casualty has improved and his condition is no longer life threatening.
“Police officers from the Chelmsford road policing unit continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision and any witnesses, who have not already contacted police, are urged to.”
If you can help with the investigation, call 101 and ask for the investigating officer PC Fiona Rayner.
