A special film has been released to help celebrate the Essex Police Museum’s 21st Anniversary, highlighting just some of the rich and varied history spanning 173 years of policing in Essex.
Becky Wash, Museum Curator said: “Over the years the museum has seen lots of changes but it continues to thrive and preserve the history of Essex Police. “We will do all that we can to ensure that the museum is successful for another 21 years.”
The museum in Springfield, Chelmsford, was opened in 1992 as a registered charity and its collection of objects, paper documents and photos dating back to 1840, has continued to preserve the history of Essex Police.
