Braintree: Supermarket application approved despite noise fears
1:00pm Sunday 15th September 2013 in News
A supermarket has been given the green light to relocate to a bigger store despite fears of noise disruption for nearby residents.
The East of England Co-operative Society will build a new 830 sq metres store in East Street, Coggeshall, to replace the existing shop in Doubleday Corner.
An application to demolish the disused Fleetshield garage and build the new store was approved by Braintree Council’s planning committee on Tuesday.
