Braintree: Big Bear Fest £4k loss
2:00pm Wednesday 11th September 2013 in News
A couple have made an impassioned plea to save a festival in memory of meningitis victim.
Despite drawing a 400-strong crowd at Great Notley Country Park on August 31, the Big Bear Fest has been described as a “financial failure” by its disappointed organisers.
The music festival, in memory of former Alec Hunter Humanities College pupil Sam Bearman, who died aged 24, looks set to have made a deficit of about £4,000.
