Witham: Ria to chop her locks for charity
2:00pm Monday 9th September 2013 in News
An eight-year-old will be chopping her Rapunzel locks to create a wig for cancer sufferers.
Caring Ria Kenny, who is a pupil at Templars Primary School, is also raising money for the Little Princess Trust, which provides wigs for children undergoing cancer treatment.
Her mum, Templars teaching assistant Sue McIlvaney said: “She doesn’t like getting her hair cut.
“She has only had it cut twice, but then we started talking about children who didn’t have any hair and we talked about the Princess Trust."
