Braintree: Disneyland dream could be dashed following bike theft
3:00pm Friday 30th August 2013 in News
A couple fear plans to take their young daughter on a dream holiday to Disneyland could be dashed after their bike was stolen.
American Dameon Leh and his partner Jenni Munson had hoped to take three-year-old Anabelle to Paris in April, but are now worried their plans could be scuppered following the theft of Mr Leh’s £200 Giant mountain bike overnight between last Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday, Mr Leh, 30, had locked the bike up near Braintree Library and got the bus to Braintree Freeport, where he works as a supervisor at Dean’s Diner.
But when he returned the following day the bike had gone.
Neither Mr Leh or his partner, who live together in Porters Field, Braintree, drive, and are reliant on the bike so he can get to and from work.
