A mum-of-three who was once given just eight months to live after becoming an alcholic has turned her life around and now hopes to inspire other people to get the help they need to beat drink and drug problems.
Sharon Fitzpatrick, of Braintree, is training to become a Volunteer Health Trainer for Greenfields Housing Association, which will be introducing a drink and drugs support programme for its tenants and lease holders.
Greenfields is planning to begin the programme in September.
