Halstead: Call to protect pub goers from flying footballs

A pub landlady is demanding action after her customer was hit in the face by a ball from a nearby basketball court.
Gilly Ryan, gov’nor of The Griffin in Parsonage Street, Halstead, believes it will not long before some is seriously injured from by balls coming over the fence from the nearby court.
Customer Aurelia Moreaux, 30, of Ramsey Road, Halstead, was left with swelling to her face after a football from the court hit her while she was on the patio on Saturday afternoon.
